Start with Gold Pure — it's the plainest jar and the easiest to take straight. The label says 1–2 tablespoons daily: a spoonful in the morning and one at night.
Before you start
Sea moss is a natural source of iodine, and the amount varies between harvests. If you have a thyroid condition, take thyroid medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before adding it to your routine.

Pigment, and how much sun it saw.
Sea moss is a red alga, and its natural pigments can read as deep purple. Much of the gold sea moss you see is lighter because it was bleached by the sun as it dried. The color in the jar is the color the seaweed had: there are no artificial colors in ours.

What each label says.
Purple Purple: wildcrafted purple sea moss, purified water and lime juice. A little earthier than gold, and kept plain.
Purple Hibiscus: the purple gel with hibiscus, floral and tart, in a deep magenta.
Keep refrigerated after opening.

Different, not stronger.
Purple tastes a little earthier and colors whatever it goes into; gold is the neutral one for cooking. How purple differs from gold is explained in full, and the gold, Irish jars are here.
Questions
Not in our jars. The color is the seaweed's own pigment, and there are no artificial colors in what we sell.
Not on any basis we can document. Color is pigment and handling, not grade. Choose on taste, on the color you want in the glass, and on the label.
The label says wildcrafted purple sea moss and does not name a country, so neither do we.
