New to sea moss?

Start with Gold Pure — it's the plainest jar and the easiest to take straight. The label says 1–2 tablespoons daily: a spoonful in the morning and one at night.

Before you start

Sea moss is a natural source of iodine, and the amount varies between harvests. If you have a thyroid condition, take thyroid medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before adding it to your routine.

Gold or purple?

Two varieties of sea moss, and the jars built on each.

Our gel comes in two bases. The gold jars (Gold Pure, Gold Raspberry and Mango) are made from sea moss labeled wildcrafted Irish: see Irish sea moss gel (gold). The purple jars (Purple Purple and Purple Hibiscus) are made from sea moss labeled wildcrafted purple: see purple sea moss gel. The remaining two jars are listed on their labels simply as wildcrafted sea moss.

Color is a matter of pigment and of how it looks in the glass, not of strength. Pick the one you would rather see in your smoothie.

What is in every jar

Sea moss, purified water and lime juice, plus whatever the flavor is made of, printed on that jar's own label. Every jar is made from wildcrafted sea moss, gathered from the wild rather than farmed, as the label says. Here is what wildcrafted means, and what it does not.
