Start with Gold Pure — it's the plainest jar and the easiest to take straight. The label says 1–2 tablespoons daily: a spoonful in the morning and one at night.
Before you start
Sea moss is a natural source of iodine, and the amount varies between harvests. If you have a thyroid condition, take thyroid medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before adding it to your routine.

A fact about where it came from, not a grade.
Wildcrafted means the sea moss was gathered from wild populations rather than grown on a farm. It is a word about origin. It is not a certification, not a quality grade and not a regulated term: nobody audits it, which is why the only thing that backs it up is the label. Every jar in this collection says "wildcrafted" on its ingredient list.

Three ways to get sea moss, described without the sales pitch.
Grows where it settles, usually on rock along the shore, and is cut from there. Shape, color and size vary from piece to piece, because every patch grew in different light and water.
Grown on ropes or nets in the sea, often in warm, shallow water, and harvested on a cycle. It is still sea moss, and it is often a different species from the wild cold-water kind.
Propagated in tanks or pools on land, and it tends to look more uniform. Farming sea moss is not a scandal. These are simply different products, and the label should tell you which one you are buying. If you are looking at dried moss, here is how to spot fake sea moss.

Wildcrafted in every jar; the origin depends on the variety.
Our gold jars are labeled wildcrafted Irish sea moss: see the Irish, gold jars. Our purple jars are labeled wildcrafted purple sea moss, with no country stated: see the purple jars. We would rather tell you that than invent a coastline. The names overlap more than most sellers admit, so here is Irish moss vs other sea moss.

Four questions any seller should answer in a sentence.
Where was it harvested? Which seaweed is it? What does the ingredient list say? Is there an analysis of the batch? Someone who handles the material can answer each one plainly. There are more questions to ask any seller in our guide.
